How long we keep information

Application information is kept for as long as needed to run the competition and for a reasonable period afterwards for record keeping. Photographs, recordings and published event coverage may be kept and used after the competition, as set out in section 11 of the Official Rules.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct the personal information we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent to analytics cookies at any time. You can also ask us to delete your registration data, subject to the Official Rules.

Under section 11 of the Official Rules, each participant consents to being photographed, filmed and recorded during the Ideathon, and agrees that their name, team name, likeness, voice, project description and any such photographs or recordings may be used by the Organizer and the Sponsor in event coverage, reports, websites, social media and promotional materials. Participants waive the right to withdraw that consent for future uses, so deletion requests do not apply to those materials.
